I went to New Orleans for the weekend, I was so exhausted the first day that I went to bed early, and woke up early the next morning to take pictures. Bourbon St. at 6am.. waking up to see the people that are still up from the night before!

Reverse Lens Macro
I did this photo and the previous one using a reversal ring and my 50mm lens. It's basically a cheap way of creating macro photos! I got the 52mm reversal ring from Amazon.com for around $14. Just be careful not to get your lens dirty and dusty while it's flipped around (which is probably inevitable!).
Tiny Buds
Life has been difficult lately.. Taking photos reminds me to stop and see the beauty in life. Nothing will ever be easy, but as long as I have a camera in my hand and I can show people the world through my eyes, everything is going to be okay :)
